Jim Smith School

Principal Angela German Acosta directs this school located in El Rosario.  This school provides for students in preschool through eighth grade, and is named after SRI’s first American missionaries, Jim and Dorine Smith.  Sponsor a student today!

RECENT UPDATES:

The Jim Smith School in El Rosario held a special devotional time with students on Tuesday, February 14th in honor of el Día del Amor y la Amistad (the Day of Love and Friendship).  Director, Angela German, shared with students how first and foremost love comes from God and how He loves each one of us.  Students were challenged to demonstrate love and caring to others every day of the year, not only on Valentine’s Day.  The event also included various songs, poems, and presentations by students.  Teachers were recognized and thanked for their contributions in providing quality, Christ-centered education.  The event concluded with a special snack for students.  Feliz Día de Amor y Amistad!
